Got something a little different today. This is a do-it-yourself semi-auto AK-47 clone built on an ITM Arms receiver (a friend put it together for me; I tried but was just too damn lazy to get-r-done).
Not too shabby for a combloc battle rifle, I have to admit...

Very cool looking.
Two things, sir:
Thing #1-THAT is a slick AK. I really dig a wooden forgrip; enough so that it actually makes me kinda like an AK... Nothing against AK's; I've just never been much of a fan. Very cool, though.
Thing #2-You need to hang out with me somewhere South of the Mason-Dixon sometime. Seriously. That's "gIt-r-done," sir. With an "I."
Okay. For that, the first 100 rounds are on me;)

Thanks Knit!
tweaker,
Doood, I'm from Massa-fucking-chusetts. It's a wonder I remembered the "r" at all... ;)
YA know, the nice thing about AK's is they got wood on 'em - birdseye maple would be cool with a hard-chrome finish to liven it up. I'd like to see pistol-grips with wood side-panels on AR's too...
We learned (we think) that the knobby forward protrusion works best when held aloft, it doesn't feel very ergonomic or "right" otherwise/except in that situation it comes into its own.
