LAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- An intense manhunt was under way Monday for Chester Stiles, a 37-year old man whom police say is a suspect in the videotaped rape of a 3-year-old girl four years ago.
Hell, there wouldn't be enough physical evidence to prove he ever existed.

Not that I would condone vigilante justice, but if his body was found in a dumpster with a single shot to the head, how would that be a bad thing?

Oddly enough, I'm normally against the death penalty in these cases. Not out of any sense of "compassion" or anything, but because of the difficulty we already have getting kids to testify against their abusers. This case though...

This is the type of case where - when I'm wavering on my support for the death penalty - I'm reminded that it is indeed a necessary and viable punishment to be carried out by the state.
He's reportedly armed and has said he wouldn't be taken alive. I'm sure that brought a smile to the face of every cop in the country as they promised "count on it".
