Unbelievable...

So, let's see...

We have a historic meeting between the leaders of North and South Korea.

The Dow hit a record high yesterday.

Coalition troop and Iraqi civilian deaths have decreased dramatically.

But what are the "leading" headlines?

*Brittany Spears is losing her kids

*ANOTHER inquiry into the death TEN FUCKING YEARS AGO of Princess Di

*Some singer crashed his motorcycle.

Really. This is what passes for news. Whoever coined the term "bread and circuses" hadn't seen nothin' yet...

Gotta keep the heat off the Queen Bee, dontcha know.

If people start hearing about how strong our country is, they might realize just what a bunch of bullshit the Dems are trying to peddle on their way to the White House.

Oh, come now Jay, surely you're overreacting. I'm quite sure that if North and South Korea were edging towards hostility, the Dow were to start tanking & coalition & civilian deaths were to rise dramatically, the press would shuttle the news to the "C" section.

As Tigerhawk said: "As of this writing, it is hard to find a major American newspaper that has picked up news of the 'desperation' letter, but Al-Jazz and the Tehran Times are all over it. Of course, they probably do not care if the Democrats win next year.""

But... but... I HAVE to know what happened to Brit's kiddies. Really I must... And I just KNOW that the Queen had Diana killed...

Damn - and all the time I thought this WAS the news. I'm so ashamed. *hangs head... walks away*

All that's left is for the "stories" in the "walls" to start talking to us.

It's only a matter of time before our houses are burned because we dare to read...
