Friday Gun Pr0n #41

Since today is #40 Because I'm an idiot and can't count, but am too lazy to think up something clever about #41, here's a .40:

SigSauer model P229 in .40 S&W. The 229 series is Sig's intermediate-sized frame, in between the full-sized 226 and the compact 239. It's an all-steel, traditional DA/SA semi-automatic with 12 round capacity.

That is all.

And, may I add, a complete joy to shoot. A buddy of mine has one and even stock, the trigger is exponentially better than most hand guns out there.

Clearly, you need one of these.

It's all what you're used to on the "joy" of shooting a SIG...

One of my . . . associates is a federal special operator and he hates his new issued, compared to his well-worn-in Glock. I also found the SIG trigger unpleasant compared to my well-worn-in Glock with a 3.5lbs connector.

Glock or SIG, either of them compared to a good revolver trigger stink to high heaven.

Not to be pedantic, but that 229 has a milled steel slide and an aluminum alloy frame. Sig does make an all steel 229 (the 229 Sport) in stainless. It weighs about 37 pounds.

Add nite sites and laser grips and beef up to Sig .357 and David K. can kiss my glockass.
