Friday Gun Pr0n #46

Today's pr0n is signifantly smaller than the past couple of weeks, although it is from the same company as last week...

This is a Colt Junior in the questionable .25 ACP caliber. It's Colt's "update" to the 1908 Vest Pocket hammerless semi-auto, with the major changes being an external hammer and the magazine release located on the grip rather than underneath. It's a surprisingly accurate little gun, at least compared to other guns of this size and caliber, but given the lackluster performance of the .25 ACP really shouldn't be considered for a CCW piece except for back-up.

That is all.

"Questionable" is an overstatement. That gun is only good for pistol-whipping a Pomeranian.

Could have come in handy at NIU

What's the old saying? A .22 in pocket is better than a .44 in closet?

Anyhoo, that's a way cool old gun. Wonder what it's seen along the way. Even if it's in an anemic caliber.

Agree'd a .25 in the pocket is better than a .44 at home, still even the .22 LR NAA Revolver packs more punch (as ballistic energy is concerned) than the diminutive .25

Thankfully Jay has that spiffy .380 pocket-rocket!

I like my 1908 better, its OLDER ; ]
