On a whim, picked up some clothes off the clearance rack at WallyWorld this morning (hey, don't laugh. After losing over 1/3 of my body, I need to rebuild the ol' wardrobe as best I can). $1 T-shirts? Hell yeah, sign me up. Jeans for $9? You're talking my language.
T-shirts? Size "S". Small. Holy fucking shit. Anyone that knows me, knows that one word that does NOT fit me is "small", but here we are.
Jeans? 30/32. 30" waist. I never in a hundred bazillion years thought I'd get below 36". 30" was about as obtainable as flapping my arms and flying to the moon...
It's been a long, hard road. I've had to sacrifice quite a bit; I've made changes that, realistically, I'd rather not have made; I've passed on more good food that I can think about.
But not having to pay an extra $3-$4 for the XXL size?
Abso-fucking-lutely worth it.
That is all.

WHOA! Congratulaions, sir! That's a good feeling (both cheap clothes and weight loss).
I've gone from 44 to 38 with much more ahead. What's your secret? Let me guess ... cheetos, twinkies, and McD milkshakes before bedtime?
Hmm ... perhaps not ...
Congratulations!
Sweeeeet. Partially inspired by your saga. I joined a gym a several weeks ago and started to change my eating habits. So far I've lost 15lbs and looking forward to the 20lbs mark.
Congrats Jay! That's major weight loss. A 30 inch waist is pretty damn fit. Hell that's my pant size and I'm 6ft. 140.
