Sadly, I don't have a CZ-83 to showcase today for the numerical aspect. What I do have, though, is an interesting little gun:
This is a "Kraft Prod" model K-25 .25 ACP. It's a Baby Browning knock-off, done rather poorly, but that's all I know about it. There's no information available that I can find for it, which is unfortunate - it needs a new set of springs, badly. The one and only time I took it to the range, it got off two shots before misfiring something awful - in fact, it had a hangfire, the first time I've ever experienced one.
I've done a quick search around the 'net for information on "Kraft Prod" and "Kraft Products" to no avail; there's nothing out there I can find on this manufacturer. I'd like to try my hand at some minor amateur gunsmithing, as I was given the gun for free and it's not currently working, so at the very worst I've got a gun I can turn in at the next "buyback" and make $200...
Anyone know where to find information on oddball firearms?
That is all.

Try an oddball gunsmith...
..... Well...... it's a GUN. And it's better than a ...... BB gun.
I am reminded of a gunshop sign I saw in Neil Boortz's Redneck Scrapbook (WARNING: that right there will absolutely kill some time....):
"GUNS for sale. Some Good. Some not so Good. Some don't work at all. All of 'em are better'n runnin'."
On the hangfire- Do you suppose it may have had something to do with the 30 year old ammo (judging from the boxes- Is Western even in business?)
Odd gun ID?
...... um...... Dr. Strangegun?
Drop an Email to Bitter and/or Ten-Ring They both enjoy collecting mouse guns and might know a thing-or-two
Along the same lines, sort of: a friend of mine just acquired an old Browning shotgun. I had a quick look at it, but I know little about shotguns so I couldn't tell him much. Distinguishing marks:
* pump-action 12-gauge, wood stock with pistol grip
* Browning Buckmark on the underside of the trigger guard
* Browning name and "Made in China" etched into one side of the barrel
* "Invector Special Steel" etched into the other side, along with the gauge, allowed shell size, and barrel length (28")
* No other artwork visible anywhere
Anything special he should know about this shotgun, or is it just what it looks like: a cheap Browning made overseas and sold for a couple of hundred bucks?
Kraft? How cheesy.
Oh, one more thing: on close look at the photo you posted, it looks like you misread the name. It's not _K_raft, it's _C_raft. I searched on "Craft Products" and found a few references to the gun and to magazines for sale for it. Nothing that told me who made it, though.
