Positively Chilling...

There is an all-out full-court press to destroy "Joe the Plumber" in the mainstream media.

Joe the Plumber's tale has a few leaks

'Joe the plumber' isn’t licensed

Reality Checking "Joe The Plumber"

Joe the Plumber may not be Joe, and he may need a provisional ballot

Joe The 'Not Registered' Plumber Owes Back Taxes

Joe the Plumber? Not a plumber. And not even called Joe

An average guy absolutely DESTROYED in the media because he dared to question The One. Folks, this is beyond the pale. Within the span of a week, we know more about "Joe the Plumber" than we do Barack Obama. We know that Joe hasn't paid some back taxes - but we don't know about Obama's college transcripts. We know that Joe isn't his given name, yet we don't know the full extent of Obama's involvement with the Joyce Foundation or ACORN. All because he dared to ask a single question of Barack Obama, a question that was ultimately used against Obama.

The average joe dared take on The One, and the average joe got slimed.

That's chilling. Only those with absolutely nothing to hide dare speak out in today's brave new world of personal destruction. How can your average person hope to stand such scrutiny? Well, that's an easy one: Only speak out against Republicans.

Just imagine, will you, if the mainstream media devoted this much time and effort into looking into the massive voter fraud perpetuated by ACORN. Or did a little legwork to fill in the missing gaps in Obama's resume - where he was on the board of directors of the Joyce Foundation that no one wants to talk about. Or, perhaps, brings up the many publications to Obama's credit as President of the Harvard Law Review. Surely the media could find us that. Heck, just filling in his academic credentials between the time he graduated high school and finished at Harvard would be nice - given that they were able to get us George W. Bush's college grades at breakneck speed...

You know, actual journalism - that DIDN'T benefit Barack Obama, that is.

Sickening. I have a horrible feeling that the Obama Administration is going to make us long for the even political keel of the Clinton Administration...

That is all.

Hey, he's been promising us "change" from the beginning. We certainly can't call him a liar on that front.

As for the "hope" portion of the equation, not so much.

Who in their right mind would ever hope to live under such a fascist ruling class?

I'd like to be able to brush off all the "reset button" talk as paranoid rhetoric, but I honestly can't.

Who was the celebritard who said there's a "chill wind" coming a couple years back?

Talk about prescience.

I want that guy to pick my lottery numbers.

Yeah, isn't it interesting that we know more about Joe after two days then we know about the media's candidate after 15 years.

Bruce,

I don't know if I'd consider taking the "politics of personal destruction" to new lows to be actual change, per se... Just more of the same, only harder.

You know, just like the draconian gun control Obama's going to foist on us the instant he "has all the votes" together...

As for the paranoid rhetoric, all I can say is, is it time to split a case of 7.62X39mm, or should we get our own?

As for the celebritard, I think it was Tim Robbins. You know, complaining about how his freedom of speech was being squelched under the fascist Bush regime.

At a televised Press Club Dinner.

Of course, there's always Jerome "Lardass" Nadler's comment about a "whiff of fascism" being "in the air".

Obviously fat Jerry's just fine with it when it's the full weight of the media bearing down on a single person, as opposed to one political party trying to stop the other political party from counting votes in a locked room by themselves with no scrutiny whatsoever...

emdfl,

Bingo. They were able to dig up very personal information on Joe in short order, yet they can't report on even basic facts of Obamessiah...

Almost like... Oh... They have an agenda.

It was Tim Robbins.

I just posted the choice quotes.

I'm pretty much resigned to maxxing out a credit card between November and January.

Between stocking up on "assault weapons" (like the M1 carbine) that *WILL* be banned; buying as many magazines as I can get my grubby mitts on; and stocking up on ammo (remember, Obama's the one who wanted to both ban hunting ammo *and* institute a 500% tax on it)...

It's going to be a long, cold winter my friend.

You've just made me depressed reading this...it furthers a feeling that's been growing on me lately.

I love how they are demonizing "Joe" for owing back taxes.

Heck, isn't that PROOF we are over-taxed?

*lol*

Question: where are all the people who were outraged that we'd listen in on a phone call to Achmed Abul in Pakistan? Where are the folks who went berserk over Ari Fleisher saying "watch what you say" after Maher was pilloried for saying that the 9/11 terrorists were brave?

Politics is politics & I expect people to defend their 'side', but at least an appearance of holding one's self to the standards that one applies to others would be, you know, welcome.

Rare, indeed, but still welcome.

In the last 48 hours we've seen Obama claim that before 50 million people he didn't vote for the born-alive act, which is infanticide, when the records show that he did, and the press did......nothing. Like Yukon Cornelius sniffing his pick after stabbing into the ice in search of silver & gold.......nuthin'. Yet, a guy asks Obama a question pertaining taxes and the press investigates his personal records and the left (but, I repeat myself) is giddy.

1984 was when I switched from liberal Democrat to a conservative Republican, because the Democrats/left pushed common sense away in favor of division and smears. Apparently, they don't want me, or anyone like me, back.

Look at what they're doing to htis guy. What the hell are they going to do when they get power?

*Any rebuttals can be taken up with the 1% of Republicans who defended Trent Lott & Mark Foley. Sorry, we have our moments of hypocrisy & dunderheadeness, but we don't embrace thuggery, overt smear tactics and wallow in the investigations of the private lives of citizens - whether or not you claim it.

-

BTW, if you're having trouble accessing the internet, it's due to the bandwidth being hammered due to all the leftwing writers showing their discomfort at the efforts of Democrats to use fraudulent votes & attempts to steal the election by using fake registrations.

Right?

JTP's $1,200 tax lien? Full frontal assault, complete with airstrikes and bunkerbusters.

Charlie Rangel's bigger tax troubles?

Crickets.

Nothing but fuckin' crickets.

I can't take the credit for it, but I will repeat it:

Why is a BRITISH newspaper even covering this? Man, I feel for that poor bastard. I've got a couple things in MY past I'd rather not have dug up, thanks.

But I'll still question that slimeball if I ever come face to face with him.

Liberals, Obamatrons, and other semi-religious zealots around the county/world are simply pissed that a "lowly", blue-collar grunt was able to coax their Messiah into exposing his true colors before the election. Thus, his existence simply cannot be tolerated, as he poses a distinct threat to the Messiah's public image - which is all he really has, after all.

This character assassination of an average American is despicable, there is no doubt, but unexpected? Hardly.

*sighs*

Thanks to our most-recent move, furniture acquisitions, and travel plans for the holidays, our credit card is higher than it has been for a while. That said, I am going to have to find some way to convince Better Half to let me spend a little more, in preparation for the probable outcome of these elections. It is only money, right?

"Joe the Plumber" = "a free preview of what will happen to people who questions their Dem Overlords, beginning next year."

Unless McCain pulls it out, of course, but I'm not hopeful...

Here's my prediction. If Obama wins, his presidency will make us look back at Jimmy Carter as a great statesman.
