Ren & Stimpy? Heard of 'em once. Never watched any of their cartoons, though. Never will. All animated short-toons made since 1960 are pure distilled undiluted Fail when compared to the Gods of Short-Toondom: Bugs, Daffy, Wile E. and their companions from Termite Terrace.
Heh. When I was writing my Master's Thesis in 1997, I was sitting in my little apartment with my Fujitsu laptop computer on the coffee table and a Ren & Stimpy marathon on TV... Watched about 9 hours straight.
Think I wrote about three paragraphs...
wolfwalker,
While I will readily admit to a strong preference for the classics as well, I can appreciate the newer offerings like Ren & Stimpy or Pinky & the Brain (of course, newer being relative, as both are over 15 years old at this point...)
Liberty,
Heh. Why does it not surprise me that you like R&S?
Epi,
You're most welcome. Getting annoying but catchy tunes stuck in your head is but one of the services I offer...
Just a word of caution, though: Do NOT, under any circumstances, play this video in front of the kids.
Unless you're prepared to play it over and over (about 20 times or so) and then here "IT'S LOG! IT'S LOG!" shouted throughout your house the rest of the day...

Open Invitation for New Shooters
Just want to extend an open invitation to all potential new shooters in the Northern Virginia area. If you have never shot a firearm, or would like to get back into the shooting sports, or are an accomplished shooter who'd like to try something in my arsenal, give me a shout.
New shooters get range time, targets, gun use and ammo on me. I've even got extra eye and ear protection - all you have to do is show up.

Ren & Stimpy?
Frikin' A.
Was spelunking in the attic last week and found a R&S sweatshirt. It got two passes through the washer and I've worn it for two days now.

Best. Show. Ever.

I mean... Darnit, Jay. For the next day or two I'm going to be singing that song.
