Seems he also used his position to frighten critics and threatened a freaking children's hospital with revoking state aid if they didn't contribute to his campaign. I hope this piece of shit gets a real angry roommate in the Federal pen...

This so reminds me of the Gary Hart / Donna Rice kerfuffle. Gary Hart dared the press to follow him around, tail him, etc. Only difference is that then Sen. Hart only lied about nookie.
From what I understand, those who do wrong to women and children don't get treated well in the pen. I would hope Blagojevich's actions vis-a-vis the children's hospital are seen in the same light.

He sorta pales by comparison, doesn't he? Although I really applaud the Gen. Lee, North/South and Illinois not-so-volunteer comparison.
Let us hope that our incoming president brushes up on his corruption radar by the time he officially takes office. The list of people that everyone else knew was corrupt - but he was oblivious to - is getting longer by the day.
Unfortunately, the corrupt politicians get sent to minimum security prisons. The cellmate of Illinois' current gov may be well be Illinois' previous gov, who's still in prison.
