Open Invitation for New Shooters
Just want to extend an open invitation to all potential new shooters in the Northern Virginia area. If you have never shot a firearm, or would like to get back into the shooting sports, or are an accomplished shooter who'd like to try something in my arsenal, give me a shout.
New shooters get range time, targets, gun use and ammo on me. I've even got extra eye and ear protection - all you have to do is show up.

Facebook is perhaps the biggest time suck there is.
Hey, gotta have something to do while the bikes are garaged for the winter!
According to something I read yesterday, Facebook apparently "owns" any data posted on it's website. I would think that would be a scary thing if true.
I know a female, unnamed, who "found" FB late last year and I can already see the monstrous argument that we're soon to have due to her obsession with it. Seems that she has sitting on her a$$ at the computer reading FB as a higher priority instead of lesser items like family, household, organization, personal growth, menial chores, setting an example...you know, the little things. No, I'm not being an a-hole, it's taken over her life. Maybe I can get my wife* to talk with her.
* the 1995 version, that is. Wish I knew where she went to. [seem bitter, much?]
Well, I don't know. I mean, Facebook is great at ... Ooh, shiny!
I swear, I am the only person who doesn't "get" Facebook. The only reason I am still there is several of my friends are more active there than on MySpace.
