Sorry Folks...

I can't do a Friday Fun Thread today. I just can't. Next week, I promise, we'll be back with automotive shenanigans and other assorted silliness. But not today. Today I'm struggling to keep the Emote-o-meter somewhere between "Dissolve into tears" and "Rip someone's head off and shit down their neck".

I am going to the range tonight - that's a given.

That is all.

A friend just reminded me:

"In December, 2001, President Bush approved Public Law 107-89 declaring 9/11 to be "Patriot Day".

In April, 2009, Congress passed and President Obama signed into law the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. In that Act, September 11th was officially declared "The National Day of Service and Remembrance."

Screw you.

We know what day it is."

As I commented over at Tam's place, I'd be happier if they renamed today "Nuke the Bastards Until They Glow" Day...

Damn. And I thought I had the inside corner on the "Nuke the Bastards..." phrase. Amen.

I get absolutely livid when there are threads that the Pentagon was never hit by a plane, that it was staged. My brother works there, it was hours before I was able to leave my post and make sure he was OK.

Long, long hours.
