Four thugs charged in brutal banker beat down
Three reputed gangbangers were held on $50,000 bail yesterday after they were accused of nearly stomping a State Street banker to death because he refused to pay for their Chinatown dinner.
John Benoit and Jumoke Marshall, both 22, of Roxbury, and Eric Wallace, 19, of Everett pleaded not guilty to the Mother’s Day beating that left Joe Yoon Kang, 28, in the hospital for a month, permanently brain damaged, prosecutors said.
Can someone tell me why this isn't a hate crime? Anyone? Bueller?
It's a good thing MA has such strict gun control, isn't it? I mean, otherwise, Benoit, Marshall, or Wallace could have been hurt! If not for MA's draconian laws governing the ownership and carrying of arms, these upstanding young gentlemen might have had to think twice about viciously assaulting another human being. However, since it's MA, and the possibility of their victim being armed extremely remote, they were free to beat, stomp, and sucker-punch Joe Kang nearly to death.
Four thugs. Five rounds. Coincidence? I think not...

Hi, I worked with the victim at State Street. I think it is a hate crime. It was a completely random attack and Joe is the nicest person you could ever know. It's been really hard on all of us at State Street but it's great to know how many supporters there are out there that are enraged by this incident.....all of them should be thrown in jail for life (just because the death penalty is not an option).
Why? 'Cause he ain't black. It can't be a hate crime unless the victim is a Negro. Check out all the reports of assaults and you'll see - if it's a bunch of black guys beating a white guy? Assault. Bunch of black guys on an Oriental? Assault.

Well, to be fair, I've normally got 10 rounds of .45 ACP at the ready, with another 15 backing up.
25 rounds / 4 goblins = still a remainder. Shucks. Looks like I'll have to reload...

I just can't get over the viciousness of the attack on a complete random stranger. What I'm afraid of is that these four will get little more than a slap on the wrist and be out on the street putting good people in danger within months.
And if you talk to Joe, please let him know we're all hoping and praying for him to make a full recovery.

What holds 10 rounds of .45? My guess is a tactical XD with the short double stack mag, but the full size extra mag would have to have a +2 baseplate if it's the Springfield XD.
Glock G30. 9+1 for the flush magazine, 10+1 with the pinky rest extension.
Spare mag is a 13-round G21 with a Pierce +2 extension.

It was a hate crime, in that decent folk hated for it to happen.
You are all stupid and ignorant. I know some of the people involved in the case and this was no hate crime, most of the so called "suspects" basically only had asian friends. Also if you guys don't know the real story don't be so quick to point fingers. If you consider two gentlemen that were wearing nice suits and clearly had money to pay their part of the bill but decided not to "victims" then this world really has come to an end. I am very against violence, but some people just have it coming.
