Nope. No bias here. Biden's motorcade actually KILLED someone. Cheney injured a friend in a hunting accident. Biden's accident is a merre blip, a statistical zero on the media front; Cheney's accident has its own Wikipedia entry.
Personally, I blame Fox News.
That is all.

The media, especially the Lame Stream Media, has a fixation on Republicans and their purported misdeeds.
During the election they had no interest in the murky past of President Feckless, but they spent hours trying to find out everything about Sarah Palin.
Now, they don't care about Obama, Biden, Eric Holder, or which Democrats stand to make money on health care reform. However, they are still endlessly fascinated with Sarah Palin, even though she's not a candidate, or in an elective office.
Weird. Well, not really. Counter productive to intellectual discourse, certainly.
She doesn't matter, and to prove it we'll spend hours going over every word of hers that doesn't matter.
But Fox News isn't a "real" news channel...
While it is a tragic event, you're trying to compare apples to oranges here. For starters, Cheney actively violated the four rules. Biden wasn't actually involved in the incident. The vehicles had just been flown back from the State of Washington and were being driven back to a storage facility while Biden was presumably at home asleep when the early morning incident took place.
Like matthew, I fail to see the relevance of the comparison. One was Cheney his own self actually shooting someone, the other involves secret service being in a traffic accident while driving a car that had been used for Biden's motorcade, and he wasn't even in it.
It's not so much the actions as it is the media coverage.
We can only imagine the kind of coverage Cheney's motorcade striking and killing someone would have engendered. There would have been calls for investigations for weeks.
Since it's Biden, though, it's a mere blurb, a shrug of the shoulders then off the radar...
