The Tooth, the Whole Tooth, and Nothing But the Tooth.

We have had another milestone in the G. family:

Something's Missing...

Yes, Baby Girl G. lost her first tooth. It's been loose for a while now, and for the past couple of days it's been just waiting to fall out (helped along, of course, by her complete and utter inability to leave it alone for more than 5 seconds...). And last night, it finally came all the way out. She's been obsessing about losing her baby teeth, and has been for well over a year now. She first brought it up in pre-school, as some of her older friends in the after-school program would brag about losing teeth and goad the younger kids who hadn't lost any yet.

And now she has finally lost her first tooth - and she's all kinds of excited about the Tooth Fairy's first visit!

That is all.

Uh Oh! That Million-Dollar smile is now worth $999,999!

At least for a few months!

Congrats BabyGirl G!

She melts my heart every time!

Ah, to be young again and rejoice in losing a tooth - and getting paid for it - instead of cursing and having to pull out the checkbook.

I just had 3 removed yesterday. Had I saved everything from the tooth fairy, it wouldn't have come close to covering the cost :-(

*sigh* now where did I put that gauze?
