Riding a wave of opposition to Democratic health-care reform, GOP upstart Scott Brown is leading in the U.S. Senate race, raising the odds of a historic upset that would reverberate all the way to the White House, a new poll shows.I know this will come as a shock to hear, but the Boston Globe - who has endorsed Martha Coakley - has no mention of this stunning news. Let me go talk to Bruce to see if I can borrow his shocked face... Brown's ahead by four points - and yes, still within the margin of error, we understand that - on the Friday before a long weekend. If that doesn't frighten the Coakley camp - and the entire Democratic party - to their core, they're not paying attention.
Although Brown’s 4-point lead over Democrat Martha Coakley is within the Suffolk University/7News survey’s margin of error, the underdog’s position at the top of the results stunned even pollster David Paleologos.
I mean, Martha Coakley might even have to go out in the cold!
GO SCOTT GO!!!
That is all.

Hate to admit it, but the Boston Glob does have the story, and it's even fairly unbiased.

Hopefuly, the vote won't be overwhelmed by hordes of Undead, Braqindead Dem voters...
Go Scott GO!
Hate to see the email I got from Carla Howel and the Small Government movement. . . they are still pushing Kennedy. I think they would rather thow away our one shot at unseating the Dem in the Senate than admit they should wait til next time to put up a candadate.
I hated to do it but I am giving up on Carla and her Small Government news. they can't see the big picture here and are making perfection the enemy of good enough! Folks, you never get perfection in an election. . . lets not shoot off our own foot here.
We have got to get Scott in there. the effect this will have on the 2010 election will be GREAT!
GO SCOTT GO!!
It gets better. Ed Morrissey has the scoop: a Pajamas Media phone poll last night put Brown up by FIFTEEN.
Jay...methinks that you guys up there in mASS have a winning horse in the race...
Don Imus even commented on it this morning. Whenever his show has mentioned tight races, the Repubs have won in the past three major conests...
There is hope for your state yet. Good luck Scott.
See Ya
Jay did you see that Martha thinks you should limet you and your family's choice of career paths?

The station that broadcast that gaff was in New Bedford (Motto: Where even our Protestants are Catholic!)
I can't imagine that will bode very well.
It'd be a shame after watching this whole thing go on for the Dem's to start with the typical ballot box stuffing. Might happen, might not, I don't know, but history has a way of repeating itself. I think they're getting desperate enough to try anything at this point.
