Raw, Unabashed Hypocrisy...

Politically charged atmosphere makes it harder for presidents on vacation
KAILUA, HAWAII -- Before heading to a luau on Wednesday, President Obama did something much more somber, his aides said: He called CIA Director Leon Panetta to discuss the deaths of seven agency officers in a suicide attack in Afghanistan.

On Thursday morning, before taking his family to a private viewing of the movie "Avatar 3-D," Obama called his counterterrorism and homeland security advisers for updates on the probe of an attempted airline attack a week earlier.

Contrast this with the WaPo's coverage of one of President Bush's vacations:

Bush Starts 10-Day Texas Vacation
Bush's scheduled week and a half in Texas is a far cry from last year's working vacation, which was shaping up as the longest presidential retreat in more than three decades before it was rudely cut short by Hurricane Katrina after nearly a month.

The image of Bush on an extended stay away from the White House while Katrina flattened much of the Gulf Coast and left New Orleans engulfed by floodwater proved to be a defining moment of his presidency.

Got that? President 0bama has to deal with all this stress and strife even on his Hawaiian vacation. Poor, overworked President 0bama. Mean ol' President Bush, on the other hand, took extended vacations - longest in decades! - even while Americans suffered at the hands of a natural disaster. What a cold, unfeeling bastard. Kind and benevolent President 0bama takes time from his family vacation to keep up on world events and brief his staff; evil Bushhitler hates black people so he ignored the strife in NO...

Gee, no double standard there, is there?

That is all.

You're just looking at things through your hate colored goggles comrade. Just what we expect from one who brings a child to a violent spectator event compounded by mixing with politicians and playing Pool with a capital P that rhymes with T...

I hear there's a state senate seat opening up in Cambridge but I don't think I can pass for a moonbat, all the hair I've lost from the US media's hypocrisy is a dead give away.
