After thinking about it somewhat, I think I may just open a CafePress shop for some MArooned gear. Folks don't seem to care very much for ads - heck, *I* don't care too much for ads; an unobtrusive link to a CafePress shop for MArooned schwag allows capitalism to flourish.
IOW, if you don't buy my stuff, the communists win...
Now, having said that, I've got a few ideas already. There's the already-created tacticool snubbie, and there's also this particular fave just begging for a caption:
I'm thinking of a tag along the lines of "MArooned: Rage, toys, bayonets" or "MArooned: All this and a Poke-kabob". Then again, there's other taglines to be used, such as "Fueled by Rage", "Lead, follow, or get the f**k out of my way", or the simple but elegant "That is all" which I seem to be fond of...
What would y'all like to see for pictures and/or taglines?
That is all.

I like the demotivator poster, personally. I think a lot of fathers would agree!
OOH! That's a GREAT one. Thanks Lissa!
I'd keep the rage references out of it.
No need to provide fodder for those who already like to portray gun owners as potential murderers.
I'd push it as the new Maroond bayonet sheath. . . cute and cuddly to not scare the liberals. . .
Poke-kabob sounds good to me.
Curt,
That's a good point, to be sure.
The more I think about it, though, the more I like the motivational poster... :)
All:
I've signed up for CafePress and am in the process of trying to figure out just how the hell it all works. Once I get things figured out I'll get a link or something up...
MArooned: Because Redcoats Still Need Bayoneting In Massachusetts!
Heh.
"Because those Pokemon won't bayonet themselves."
I think actually using the word "Pokemon" violates the terms of CafePress.
How about "MArooned: Because those toys aren't going to bayonet themselves"?
I think we might have a caption!
So we have this one, the demotivational poster, and the tacticool snubbie with the caption of "It takes an uncommon mind".
I think that's a good start... Now all I have to do is figure out how to work CafePress and we'll be up and running...
"Pokekabob"? The plush in your image is a Scorchio from Neopets...
In 1994 they asked, "Why would you ever need a bayonet?"
In 2010 we found out during the Plushie Apocalypse.
All the time we wasted getting ready for zombies didn't prepare us for the rise of the stuffed animals.
Bayonet Lugs: In case of Plushie Apocalypse....
"Is Russian rifle, needs bayonet.
Plush toy optional"
