Judging from the responses to the initial proposal, y'all are interested...
We're going to break this into two parts: a dinner on Monday, March 1st at a restaurant to be chosen shortly and a shooting event held at Harvard Sportsmen's Club on Tuesday, March 2nd. Dinner will start sometime between 6 and 7 (AD's getting into Logan at 4:30 PM, so that's the limiting factor right there) and go until the restaurant kicks us out (I'm guessing that, since it's a weeknight, most of us will be hitting the road on the earlier side). The shooting event will start sometime between 9 & 10 AM, and go until, well, we all freeze...

What? Northeast Blogger Late Winter AD Meet & Greet (Dinner)
Who? Any and all bloggers, commenters, readers, lurkers, etc. in the Northeast area, or those passing through, or anyone crazy enough to show up.
When? March 1st, 2010. Dinner (appetizers) starting around 6 and leave when they kick us out...
Where? Location TBD (more below)
Why? Folks getting together to enjoy good food, great beer, and superlative company. Bring your appetite, a whistle for wetting, and your best stories to tell.

Location is still TBD. We've had suggestions of Peabody, Waltham and Marlboro for locations, wit restaurants of Carrabba's, Jake's Dixie Roadhouse, and Firefly's, respectively. I've been to Carrabba's and know the food and the private room; we also have somewhat of an in with some of the servers (right, SCI-FI?). Not that that should influence your decision, ahem... Plus I know it's not terrifically far from the sooper sekrit location where AD will be staying (and it's only about 5-10 minutes further north on Route 1 than the Hilltop, site of last year's meet for AD.
Let's pick a location and restaurant ASAP so I can start calling around. I'm pretty optimistic that on a Monday night we should be in good shape for securing a place, but still...

Hell, boy, you know where I'm voting for to go for vittles... and we need to show AD that there IS civilization up here in the NorthEast with some good barbeque!
I'm in for dinner. I'd prefer Waltham or Marlborough, but I can do any of them.
