Bad Omen...

Man, you just know your Monday is off to a bad start when you cut yourself shaving...

...

...with an electric razor.

How's that expression go? Somedays it's not worth chewing through the leather restraints? Yeah, that about sums it up. At least I've got the dinner tonight to look forward to...

Besides, it's not like the day can get worse from here, right?

That is all.

Nothing like tempting Murphy to liven up your day...

Rock on, Jay, rock on...

Imagine that line said with about as much sarcasm dripping from it as possible, if it helps...

was it on your head?

Why yes indeed, it was.

I figured I was being all smooth and suave, using the electric razor. I've cut myself shaving before every blogmeet I can remember, so today I thought I'd outsmart fate.

She just laughed at me...

The ONLY way I can think of to tempt Fate more is to utter the words "What's the worst that can happen?"

Remember, AD & Breda had those accidents, you don't want to be the third.

Heh, I remeber an episode of CHiPs where Ponch started off the 'bad luck' episode by cutting himself with an electric razor.

Have fun at the meet!

Hell, I forgot the best part!

I got to work and the little piece of toilet paper I stuck on the cut was still there... So not only did I cut myself with an electric razor, I had to explain why I had a half-inch square piece of TP stuck to my noggin.

OH GOD MY LIFE

Do you really want to tempt TPTB with that last line?

I recommend you eat a live toad every morning for breakfast: nothing worse can happen the rest of the day..

That includes cutting your noggin with an electric razor.

Erf... I went shiny-headed for a couple of years, and after one attempt to do so with an electric razor, I swore never to do it again. Even looked into getting one of those nifty Headblade gidgets (http://www.headblade.com/).

But, then again, I routinely nick my face with my electric razor, so maybe I am not the best source of advice ;).

Amazing how much the head bleeds, though, ain't it?

Yeah, I've done that.
