Just stepped on the scale after a week of (relatively) diet-free eating and road tripping. With all the walking around we did, the damage was minimal - only 2½ pounds gained, which was rather surprising given how far off my diet I went... Let's just leave it that eating out every lunch and dinner, with dessert included, does not lead to healthy eating habits. It's not a big deal for one week, but when it becomes a lifestyle choice rather than merely a vacation indulgence it leads to problems...
Which probably explains the large number of scooters and other devices aplenty in the land of the mouse...
That is all.

Kudos. Not bad for a week of road & theme park food. Even though you may have fallen of the wagon for the week, I think the increased activity (hauling the hord around south Florida) may have countered the caloric intake.
Only 2.5 pounds? Hell, a brisk walk and a bowel movement will probably take care of that.
