QotD, Range Edition

So I took one of my blogsons to the range this morning. We were shooting on the pistol range when we were joined by a gentleman bringing two new shooters to the range. He had only brought a couple centerfire autos, so I offered my Colt Official Police .22LR and my S&W model 422. They took turns shooting at the steel spinners, with minimal success (they were out at 25 yards). I put in a fresh magazine in the 422 and let loose, hitting the 4" target 8-9 times out of 10.

Guy looks at me and asks, "you've been shooting for a while, haven't you?"

I was so pleased it almost made me forget missing the target with all 8 rounds out of Colin's model 908...

That is all.

I think that is why Jay don't mix new shooters and blogger shooters. . .

And just to make things perfectly clear, it was NOT the gun.

Shooting for a while? Yes. Hitting the target? Wow... that's something new.
