TRENDING: Open mic catches Fiorina dig at Boxer
(CNN) – Newly-minted U.S. Senate Republican nominee Carly Fiorina added her name Wednesday to the annals of unfortunate politicians caught by an open mic.

Waiting to be interviewed by affiliate KXTV Wednesday morning, Fiorina is clearly heard taking a dig at her rival for the California Senate seat, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-California.

"God, what is that hair?" a laughing Fiorina said, while quoting a friend who had recently seen Boxer on television. "So yesterday."

She made a crack about Barbara Boxer's hair. ZOMG! RACIST! H8R! Are you freaking serious? Is this what passes for incisive political commentary? Pointing out that, in a moment of candor a candidate took a cheap shot at another politician's looks? Meanwhile, linked on the same main page is a nice fluff piece dedicated to presidential potty mouth whose sole intent, as far as I can tell, is to deflect criticism from Øbama's desire for an "ass to kick"

So, in the estimation of CNN, a crack about a political opponent's hair "burns" a candidate, while using potty talk when talking about a major disaster is perfectly fine. Nah, there's no bias here whatsoever... I guess what's surprising is just how naked the bias is getting - they're not even pretending to hide it any more. I mean, really - the woman made a crack about Boxer's hair.

It's not like she called Boxer a power-hungry Socialist or anything...

That is all.

Had it been the other way around, of course, the story would have read...

"Senator Boxer reaches across the aisle to help her new novice opponent with styling tips"

Boxer's hair looks like it was sprayed on by Duracoat. Which might be an insult to Duracoat.

Of course the Lame Stream Media is going to attack Fiorina, she's a ZOMG, conservative woman after all.

Let's not talk about the lefty campaign to investigate Sarah Palin's boobs & if they're real or not.

Once again, they're held to standards about 1/4th that they hold us to.
