Colony Club II owner not being charged for shooting suspected burglar
East St. Louis, IL (KSDK) -- An elderly Caseyville man who owns and operates a Metro East nightclub will not be charged for shooting a suspected burglar, the Illinois State Police said Tuesday.72 years old. Robbed by a man less than half his age. Those that push gun control as the be-all, end all solution to crime would rather the club owner fight a man half his age in hand-to-hand combat rather than chose a firearm for self-defense. Those of us who believe in taking responsibility for our actions - and taking charge of our own defense - say to hell with that. We're tool-using primates, and we would be remiss in not using the best tools for the job.
The St. Clair County States Attorney's Office reviewed the case and determined the 72-year-old owner of Colony Club II would not be charged.
And in the case, the job is dispatching goblins, and the best tool is a firearm.
Dead Goblin Count: 56
That is all.
Tip 'o' the keyboard to Top of the Chain for the link. Thanks man!

Say, isn't East Saint Louie the same town that just had to lay off a third of its police force because the local police union refused a pay cut for all police?
The implications are .. entertaining.
WOW .. the hits just keep coming :)
Glad the Goblin count is up, but it sounds just like another day in the hood in E.St. Louie.
