Critics say Obama's message becoming 'incoherent'
Washington (CNN) -- President Obama's comments on a plan to build a mosque in the shadow of ground zero are not only giving opponents an opportunity to attack him but also reveal a messaging problem from the White House, a communications expert said.
"The danger here is an incoherent presidency," said David Morey, vice chairman of the Core Strategy Group, who provided communications advice to Obama's 2008 campaign. "Simpler is better, and rising above these issues and leading by controlling the dialogue is what the presidency is all about. So I think that's the job they have to do more effectively as they have in the past [in the campaign]."
Øbama put his foot in it, plain and simple. Rather than fall back on Constitutional reasonings why the group has the right to build the mosque, he thought he could give us all a lecture on tolerance. Øbama the "Smarter than thou" was going to tell all us inbred cousin humpers why building a mosque in the wreckage of the World Trade Center was a sign of enlightenment and wound up painting a target square on the buttocks of his mom jeans.
And now he's losing CNN. This cannot be a good thing for the socialism-lite espoused by the Øbamanoids (to say nothing of the communist-lite as they practice...) Mid-term elections are coming up fast - it will be September in just a couple of weeks and primaries will be held. With people still thining about the "Mosque at Ground Zero", what may very well have been a bad election may turn into a rout; the panic is almost palpable with ever misstep Øbama takes. It's hard to pinpoint the problem, though; is it that Øbama simply can't believe that we don't accept his word as gospel? Is it that he really does think he knows best? Or he just floundering, realizing that he's in way over his head and that blaming his predecessor will only get him so far?
In any case, here's hoping that he learns something - and fast - because while I relish the thought of the reins being turned over to someone less communistic than Øbama, I fear the kind of damage he can do in his remaining time...
That is all.

Ya, I am with ya on this one. we don't need Obama turing into our own version of Emperor Nero. . . .
It's kinda sad that he can't even figure out how to use the Constitution to his advantage.
He's such an incredible narcissist that he could flounder on any issue forever alone on a deserted planet and honestly wonder why the entire universe doesn't see things his way - for he knows best, after all.
He's not worried about us poor bitter & clinging inbreds. He's so much better than us that he believes he will prevail - because he's so wonderful, dontcha know?
That arrogant sap is so far over his head there is no appropriate colloquialism to illustrate the fact - he is such a severe example of incompetence that new words need to be invented to describe his idiocy.
Anyone who makes Jimmy Carter look good had better finish his one & only term quietly and go far, far away. Sure will be an interesting November.
He can't fall back on the Constitution - it has no significance on its own to him. It's only meaning is "in context"...
The only "context" I can find for the Constitution in anything the Feds do lately can be expressed in two paraphrases of President Clinton's campaign slogan:
"It's Provide for the Common Defense, stupid", and "It's leave the American Citizen alone, stupid".
The American system of governance can be reduced to those two "commandments".
Here's the scary part. From Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution, concerning the Powers of the President: "...He may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such time as HE SHALL THINK PROPER,.."
So let's say the Republicans get back the House and the Senate this Fall. They take over on January 3rd, 2011. Barry asks "When you shutting down"? They say, "Oh, We'll break for Mlk Holiday, then we'll be back until President's Day, then..." Barry says, "Nope, I disagree with you on your time for Adjournment, You're Adjourned until Jan., 20th, 2012, and I'll just run things using Federal Agency Regs and Recess Appointees until you get back".
Can't find a case in U.S. History when it was done, but the Constitutional Provision is on the Books. And one thing History HAS shown us is that COMMIES HATE to give up POWER. Anyone think this Mao-Loving, Terrorist Appeasing, "Fundamentally Transforming" P.O.S. wouldn't try to take over using this clause if he thought he could get away with it?
Something tells me that his own people would drag him, quite bodily, out of the Oval Office for such a stunt.
I think it's far more likely that he'd just do what Clinton did and make recess appointments every time the Speaker of the House took a dump and such...
As far as recess appointments go, note that the 2006 congress refused to adjourn for a bit soa s to prevent Bush from using recess appointments to fill certain positions
