The Best Kind...

John the Texaner, in Gunblogger Conspiracy IRC, posted the following heartwarming story:

SAPD: Homeowner Shoots, Kills Intruder
SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio police said a northeast side woman shot and killed a man who broke into her home early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. at the woman's home in the 4800 block of Castle Path, police said.

Is Texas. Is not safe for home invaders.

The story gets better though:
Police said they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but believe the two knew each other and the woman told them she had rejected his sexual advances in the past.

That just brings a smile to my face. Dude's been stalking her ever since she told him to go pound sand. He's been creeping around her place, but since this is Texas, she didn't go out and get a restraining order, she went out and got a gun. He broke in - he violated her personal space with G-d only knows what intentions - and she took the necessary measures to keep herself safe.

Dead Goblin Count: 76.

That is all.

They were saying on the news that he had apparently broken into her house at least once in the past, and she was scared enough to barricade her bedroom door.

Thank God she didn't stop there.

"Plainly she was compensating for the size of her penis", as we say.

Nothing says "No." as unequivocally as a pair of supersonic jacketed hollow points to CoM.

I emailed my sister in San Antonio, I thought she may have been the woman!

What's more, this case would count in the eyes of the anti's as the, "You're more likely to shoot somebody you know..." statistic.

Yeah, she knew him. She knew he was a scumbag!

This is one of the reasons I love this sovereign republic, I mean, state!

One only wishes that this sort of thing happened more often.
