Bill Pintas was vacationing in Las Vegas when he decided to stay at the swank new Vdara hotel, a curvy 57-story tower owned by MGM Resorts. He was sitting at the pool when he encountered something alarming. He recalls, "I'm sitting there in the chair and all of the sudden my hair and the top of my head are burning. I'm rubbing my head and it felt like a chemical burn. I couldn't imagine what it could be."
I'm sorry, but you can hardly call it a "death ray" if all it does is singes a lawyer's hair...

It may not be a death ray, but if it fries a lawyer's head, it must be some kind of "smart" weapon .

Yeah, but since he's a lawyer, guess how much money MGM will be paying the Ambulance Chaser?
Just call it a slow death ray. It'd have killed him if he'd had a 4-martini lunch and passed out next to the pool.
Well at least it's accurate. All that's left to do is get the calibration down ;)

I wonder if this was designed by the same firm that did the new Disney Music hall in LA. Similar problem with the lovingly polished aluminum cooking the apartments across the street.
