Friday Gun Pr0n #186

Look at the date. Is there any other gun I could possibly post today? I didn't think so... Here's a round-up of 10/22s I've featured over the years:

BSA 100th anniversary 10/22

Custom Ruger

Tim in Seattle's custom 10/22

Is That What I Think It Is?

My 10/22 done in evil

Standard stock 10/22

Evil black 10/22

Wall 'o' 10/22s

Yes, that is what you think it is

My 10/22, old school.

No matter what form it takes, the 10/22 is a perennial favorite.

That is all.

And the new SR 10/22:

All take the same mags!

Jay,
I noticed a suppressed 10/22 in your evil black pic. Let's give a shout-out to the IDF (Iraeli Defense Forces) who used suppresses 10/22's to "kneecap" bad-guys. L'Chaim !!!!! If Double-tapper happens to be reading . . . perhaps he can expand upon how the 10/22 has been used in an urban environment.

That's the definition of fun, right there.

I just got my first one last Tuesday, stainless, coated metal with a composite stock. I was going to get the plain jane one but this one was only $40 more and about $100 less than I expected, so why not get a scary, black .22?

I'm pretty sure my first one is going to end up as an MG-42, but there's a nice M-1 Carbine paratrooper stock for it at Natchez.

Decisions, decisions.

My buddy knows where to get one for a dual mount so it looks like an anti-aircraft weapon from WWII.

The very first gun I ever bought was a 10/22. :)

Nothing beats a simple, reliable, 22. And having one so customizable is just a delight.

Seeing that pic of the 10/22 SBR... Hmn, I wonder...

I love my 10/22 DSP. Good choice, Jay.

You really need to add an International model: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ruger_10_22_International.png to your collection. This is the only 10/22 I own (so far) and I bought it because I knew I wouldn't be tempted to "improve" it. Mine does have a variable power scope on it and it is probably my favororite 22 rimfire in my locker.

Trigger sucks but Mr. Timney fixed it for ya.
