Go Read...

The Pistolero tees off on Rolling Stone magazine, specifically their fawning Øbama "interview".

He's a lot more polite than I tend to be, which is saying something. Personally, I haven't paid any attention to the music scene since the mid '90s, when every group decided that the One True Path to fame and fortune was to out-grunge Nirvana and Pearl Jam in an all-out whine-fest. There have been decent bands, of course, but sadly they're fewer and farther between recently. And this rock and roll is just a fad anyways...

Anyhoo, go read - it's always good to see someone tee off on the unabashedly pro-Øbama mainstream media.

That is all.

I've never been much on grunge either, though I do like PJ and Nirvana a lot more than I used to. Soundgarden's always been a fave, though Queensryche was and is the best thing to come out of the Seattle music scene. '80s prog/power metal FTW!

WV: spain. The rain in Spain falls mainly on the slain? (What does it say about me, that that was what came to mind?)

I love rock but as an art form it is dead, dead, dead. Compare the incredible creativity of the first 20 years of rock with the last 20.
Nirvana was rock's last hurrah.
