Only in Florida: Randy 92-Year-Old Banned From Public Libraries
I, like Mike, wondered just how bad a 92 year old man's notes could be (and couldn't resist the snarky thought of "hey, if he made an advance on a librarian would the police charge him with "Assault with a Dead Weapon"?). It's certainly nothing to joke about, especially since in many instances the library is a criminal-empowerment zone (a.k.a. Gun "Free" zones), and as Breda points out, it had to have been somewhat nasty/creepy to involve the cops.It didn't happen in Miami. It didn't even happen in Broward. But we have our own share of very old men, and now consider ourselves warned.
Stuart resident Herbert Johnson, 92, has been ordered to stay out of Martin County public libraries after waging an amorous campaign toward female employees.
Apparently there are worse offenders than Snotman...
That is all.

I really commend Breda for dealing with the public (the often unwashed public) everyday.
I don't know how she does it.
That's a weird one... no question...
Years ago, in my hometown in Maine, a disturbed man went into the library and stabbed our librarian. This day and age, if you work in the public and something is creeping you out, do what ever it takes to make it stop.
Today, I was at the library and caught some mid-50's guy watching porn on his laptop no more than 20 feet from the young adult fiction section.
I prefer to refer to "Gun Free Zones" as Designated Victim Enclosures.
