Judge spares drug dealer from deportation
SALEM — For two months, Salem police detectives built their case against Josue Santiago, after receiving information that he was dealing drugs.
Using an undercover officer, they arranged to purchase cocaine from Santiago three times last fall and then arrested him.
Okay, pretty standard police work, good job on the Salem PD getting a scumbag coke dealer off the streets. It's what happens next that has me wondering WTF is in the water in Salem...
He [Judge Richard Mori] agreed to continue the charges against Santiago without a finding for 364 days — one day short of the year that would have triggered deportation proceedings.
Dealing cocaine = CWF, without even enough to get this guy deported. Now, if he had an 11 round S&W magazine on him, they really would have come down on him...
And it gets better:
Santiago had already been the beneficiary of a continuation without a finding in a marijuana distribution case, according to court records.
HE'S A REPEAT OFFENDER.
This idiot judge let this dude WALK even though HE'S DONE THIS BEFORE. Had he given the jackoff the full sentence, the dude'd already be on a plane bound for home right now, where (theoretically) he wouldn't be coming in front of this judge again. Can someone - anyone - explain to me just why the fuck we even bother having laws? There are a lot of wasted man-hours that went into the police work necessary to arrest this piece of shit that just got flushed out the shitter because of some bleeding heart asshole judge.
And yet the same cretins that will applaud Judge Mori for his humanitarian actions in sparing this poor soul from being deported would be perfectly happy with me getting thrown in jail for buying two magazines for a firearm at the same time. They would love nothing more than for me to get a felony conviction for having a new rifle with a bayonet lug, on the specious argument that bayonet lugs make the gun somehow more deadly; yet when it comes to someone who is demonstrably thumbing his nose at the entire justice system, hey, what's a little blow between friends, right?
MA: You're more likely to need your blood pressure meds here.
That is all.
Thanks to PISSED for making sure that my blood stays all angried-up...

I have to assume a few things, given the epic levels of stupid that are on repeated, permanent display in the state in which you reside. Also, that all of these are contingent on you never leaving said state:
1. You are getting paid an obscene amount of money for your job. 'Splains the ever-expanding armory.
2. Your entire family will die in an instant from some rare disease that will only manifest itself outside MA borders.
3. You have one of those movie-style bombs permanently implanted in your body with boundary sensors at the state lines.
That's it. That's the only explanation why you aren't leaving a vapor trail behind your departure from the Land Of Perpetual Stupid.

In the words of Breaker Morant: "We shot them under Rule 303."
And Liberals wonder why we cling to our guns. The government they've provided is failing on SO many levels.
And those same Liberals will be shocked (Shocked!) when the populous provides solutions of their own.
Actually, considering how Attorney Generalisimo Holder and his Department of Selective Justice are running the Legal System, one should expect anything that might offend the Minority Voting Blocks that keep the Anointed One in power, such as Deportation, would be quashed. I know, I know it was a State Judge, but if you want to be a Liberal, Constitution Destroying Federal Judge someday, you have to show the Central Committee of the DemiCommie Party how hard you worked to implement your share of the "Hope for some Change left in your Pocket" Agenda while you were in your local Soviet.
