ST. LOUIS • City police are investigating the death of a St. Louis County man who apparently was shot while burglarizing a home in north St. Louis overnight.
About midnight Tuesday, Deandre Robinson was shot at a home being renovated in the 5900 block of Astra Avenue. The area is near Riverview Boulevard and West Florissant Avenue, about a block west of Calvary Cemetery.
Y'know, there is a very simple algorithm to avoid this. Don't want to get shot? Don't break into houses. Very simple in its elegance. Don't try to steal the fruits of other peoples' labor, you won't get shot. Try to take what isn't yours, you might run into someone who objects. Loudly. And with 230 grains of "Oh hell you don't" to boot.
