German Jews celebrate beginning of Hanukkah
BERLIN – The leaders of Berlin's Jewish community set up a 20-foot (six-meter) tall menorah for Hanukkah on Wednesday against the backdrop of one of Germany's most historically important symbols, the Brandenburg Gate.
Eight rabbis huddled against a bitter wind to set up the large, metal menorah holding nine candles in the central square, as they have every year since 2003.
For all who observe, may your Festival of Lights bring you the dedication you seek.
That is all.
