Commenter (and now back-to-blogging) Jim has a sad story to accompany his signature.
With pictures.
Even if you don't sail; even if you get seasick watching old Jacques Cousteau reruns; even if you live in the middle of the country and have never seen a body of water larger than reservoir; if Jim's story doesn't make you tear up just a little, well, I can't help you. We've all lost something important to us at some point in our lives; anyone who can't identify with Jim's post, well, I don't know whether they should be envied or pitied, really.
Go. Read the story of the Sunk New Dawn.
That is all.

Sad, but he did win in the end, he has a wife and memories for a lifetime!
Thank you, Jay. I'm duly honored, and appreciative.
