Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'...

The DGC is rollin'... I love days where we have two additions!

The Big Guy sends in this DGC addition:

Deceased home invasion suspect identified

TIERRA VERDE - A man shot and killed in an attempted home invasion early Saturday morning has been identified.

Investigators say Albert Franklin Hill tried to force his way into a residence at 863 3rd Ave. South in Tierra Verde when a female occupant of the home opened fire.

Get a load of this choirboy:
Hill is no stranger to law enforcement with an arrest record that goes back nearly three decades. The deceased spent a large majority of his adult life behind bars serving five stints in the state prison system according to a Florida Department of Corrections report.

He was arrested by PCSO on Tuesday on a warrant out of Manatee County on a theft charge.

And yet those that push gun control would rather the woman in that home subject herself to the tender mercies of a thug who has spent most of his adult life in jail. They would rather the strong and remorseless rule the streets, the weak relegated to cowering behind reinforced doors, hoping that the police show up before the violent felon on the other side breaks through. No thanks. They can live in that particular utopia - it's called Great Britain.

I'll take America, where we righteously shoot violent thugs before they can do us harm.

Dead Goblin Count: 137

That is all.

If they would simply keep the worse %5 of repeat offenders in prison, violent crime would fall off quickly.

As a British import to the US of A I am saddened to acknowledge that you are correct in your generalization of Great Britain. We used to say that an Englishman's home was his castle, but no longer.

The guy in Tierra Verde was fighting with the woman's husband when the woman got the gun and shot the goblin.
