Quiet Ruger

Here is a bit of gun porn for you from my collection. It's a Ruger 10/22 with an integral suppressor, Tapco tactical stock and a 3x to 9x scope. It is amazing how quiet this rifle really is.She's triply illegal here in MA: Suppressor, collapsible stock, and new hi-capacity magazine. I do think something like this would make an excellent "welcome to free America" purchase once this wretched state is forever in my rear view mirror. And, of course, the perfect companion to this would be an integrally suppressed Ruger Mark II. Gee, if only I knew someone who had one of those I could post...
I bought it from SSG Tactical, while at the Nations Gun Show. They made the paperwork easy and I had it in 4 months.
I named her Squirrels Bane...

You may recall . . . the IDF at one point used suppressed 10/22's for "knee-capping" bad guys. It was quite effective.

Paul & the boys @ State Line have made a "project" gun for my son. Took an old MK II, added a bull bbl, threaded/capped muzzle, moved the sights, Duracoat finish, the works.
Gun's done, but still waiting on the fed.gov for the can p/w...
Jay, I have been shooting and rebuilding a Ruger MK 2 KMK 10 Pistol integrally suppressed by Ceiner for 20 yrs now. I have a low power scope on it and it's very quiet and a tack driver. If we could talk you into going Green on NES (I'll pick up the first year's dues) you could come to the group shoots and play with it and my other suppressors (.45 MAC and shotgun). Or, maybe we can arrange to get together at Harvard sometime. Jack

Want! That would be a great "Keep the gophers out of the yard without annoying the neighbors" gun.
Got everything but the magic quietening device; need to break down and prostrate myself before the altar of Big Brother, that I may partake of the forbidden silence...
Now, if we could only get a bayonet lug on that thing, it would become so evil the Brady's building would suddenly collapse.
