Happy Thanks-Easter?

Here's the scene from *my* porch this past weekend:

GOBBLES!

Here's another shot to show how close they are:

*Close* Gobbles

The PVC pipe (sump outlet) is only ~ 10 feet from the porch at the end. Heck, the house is only about 35 - 40 feet off the road as it is. Lucky for them I'd have to fire across a roadway (well, at least *at* a roadway) if I wanted fresh turkey for dinner...

Try this again in six months, though, and I might be tempted to warm up the bow... ;)

That is all.

Fire across the road? Heck, you should just get a Net and Club Them!

Prop the microwave oven door open and point it out the window.

Six months? If we've learned anything from the turkey industry it's that turkeys keep really well in the freezer.

Give the kids some firecrackers and let them loose.

Um, they're probably in season now.

Most states have their turkey seasons in the spring.

One of my cousins hit one with a car the day before Thanksgiving.

It didn't die...but they came back and finished the job.

I heard it was delicious.
