Teen Accused Of Cutting Off, Hitting Motorcyclist
PELHAM, N.H. -- A Windham teenager is facing assault charges after police in Pelham said he intentionally hit a motorcyclist Friday morning and drove him off the road.Got that? He ADMITTED he did it on purpose. He got pissed off that the motorcyclist passed him so he INTENTIONALLY steered his car into the bike. There is no other purpose for that action other than to harm or kill the motorcyclist. None. A 2,000 pound car vs. a 500 pound bike? No contest - as was borne out by the motorcyclist's injuries (thankfully he wasn't killed).
Cody Eller, 18, was charged with vehicular assault and second-degree assault. Police said Eller admitted intentionally steering his car into the motorcyclist in what one officer called a blatant case of road rage.
Here's the kicker:
Eller will still be able to drive. After telling the judge that he was out of work, she allowed him to keep his license so he could continue applying for jobs.
ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME???
This petulant little cumstain* nearly killed another human being using his car as a weapon and IS BEING ALLOWED TO CONTINUE DRIVING? This is a joke, right? I mean, there is no functional difference between what he did and someone shooting someone over a dirty look. None. Yet one instance we treat with the severity that it deserves, and the other we pooh-pooh. Why? Why is attempted murder acceptable if the weapon used is an automobile?
The only bright side is that it appears now that MA doesn't have the market cornered on idiot judges...
That is all.
*Upon reflection, I have to apologize for this comment. Petulant cumstains aren't as bad as this dirtbag.

He should in jail, vehicle confiscated, charged with attempted murder. The exact same charge (and bail) as if he had shot him.
But he's a "child" so he's not responsible... /snark off Agree with ASM!!!
A petulant cumstain would indicate better judgement then his parents had. His license should be converted into a motorcycle only permit, so that he would face, and with some hard earned falls, maybe learn what consequences are.
As a motorcyclist of over 40 years, I can say that being attacked by those driving cages is not unusual. Whether by ignorance, stupidity or malice, it makes no difference. My credo and constant thought in my mind as I ride, is that I am INVISIBLE. Yes, ride as if your are invisible to all to 4,6, 8, 10, 12, `6 & 18 wheel conveyances. And be prepared for any of them to do a stupid or agressive move. (thank God for Florida laws) carry a .45 for the fools that attack you.
Always keep on top of the power curve...
Were I that cyclist, I'd look the punk up a bit down the road. Revenge is best served cold..
It's bad enough when someone does that to another 4-wheel vehicle and it should be attempted pmurder then, much less when they do it to someone on a bike.
I don't know how many times I have passed someone doing 5-10 MPH UNDER the speed limit and they have suddenly shot up to 70 MPH (even in a 40 mph xone) just to keep me from legally passing. Actually had a cop stop someone for doing that (I'm sure they were laughing when the blues came on, until they founhd out it was for them not me).
Roger is right, ride like you are invissible - but that wouldn't have helped this guy at all. Also, I'm not sure I would be firing while riding - doesn't seem like the safest thing to me (don't know what is behind the target for one).
Hope the little puke winds up in prison for a long time.
On a cheerier note, the word verification is "fartive".
Biker should have been armed, not that it would have helped being totally defenseless, but if there was a chance. Just one more thing to say......."Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!"
Moron is one of the reasons I chair as VP a non-profit...MMSF.org

I don't understand. {blinking blondly} What is his crime? All he did was teach a lesson to one of those ashhole bikers who passes between the lanes. Doesn't everyone want to drive over those people?
