He's playing AAA ball now, one step below actual Little League play. The kids do all the pitching and catching at this level, with a "two steal" maximum in play to limit opportunities (believe me, if that limit wasn't in place, the games would routinely hit scores akin to basketball...). He's a decent infield player, needs to work on his hitting a bit (especially that stance!), but he's come light years from last year.
Yeah, I'm pretty darn proud of my kids...
