Obama: 'I need a dance partner' on immigration reform
Washington (CNN) -- America's immigration system is broken, but pressure from a larger political movement is needed to fix it, President Barack Obama said Monday.
"The idea of doing things on my own is very tempting. I promise you, not just on immigration reform. But that's not how our system works. That's not how our democracy functions. That's not how our Constitution is written," Obama said at the National Council of La Raza's annual conference.
Emphasis mine.
Oh, wait, Bush *did* say something like this. And he was roundly criticized for saying it. And it was widely reported - front page news and all - and linked. Whereas this is behind-the-fold hardcore political junky stuff. Oh, and Ă˜bama's not joking, either. He's dead-serious about wanting to just push legislation through without all that pesky nonsense of dealing with other branches and stuff...
The name of the game could also be "Imagine If We Had An Impartial Media"...
That is all.

We should be so lucky... He's now talking about violating the 14th amendment and just raising the debt limit himself...
You DID notice who he said this too, right?
National Council of La Raza
La Raza = KKK. They're both racist groups. If we had anything approaching an unbiased media, the President would have been excoriated for speaking to them. I really shouldn't be shocked, but I am.
