Watch the video. Patrick ain't a slick speaker; in fact, he almost makes Mumbles seem eloquent as he "um"s and "ah"s his way through the minute and a half segment. He claims that folks who are here "totally legally" will be deported under Secure Communities - quietly neglecting to mention that they would be deported if they commit crimes.A few weeks ago, Gov. Patrick was in Milford for a town-hall-style event. A group of citizens concerned about the illegal immigrant problem in their community showed up to ask him about it—in particular, the Governor’s flip-flop on Secure Communities. (He was for it when he was losing re-election, against it once the election was won).
How secure is MA now, Governor Patrick, with an unknown number of Nicolas Gaumans roaming the streets?
