Saginaw burglar shot and killed by homeowner
SAGINAW — Saginaw police are investigating a fatal shooting Monday afternoon in the 200 block of Straw Road.Gee, that's gotta suck, eh? There you are, rummaging through someone's personal possessions looking for something to steal to support your crack habit when the homeowner has the audacity to come home! I mean, doesn't anyone work for a living? And then he has the temerity to suggest that you exit his house immediately? And gets mad when you take a swing at him? What's the world coming to when you get shot over a couple hundred bucks of cheap electronics, right?Investigators said the homeowner, firefighter David Wilson, opened fire around 2:30 p.m. after interrupting a burglary in progress.
Tough s**t. You mess with the bull, sometimes you get the horns. You want to eschew hard work in favor of breaking into people's homes, you take the risk that someone's going to put a bullet in you. That's how it works in a free land. You fall on hard times, there's plenty of places that will help you get back on your feet. You don't start breaking into people's houses and stealing their hard-earned stuff. Even worse if you were doing it for a fix.
Don't want to get shot, don't force you way into somewhere you don't belong - it's just that simple.

That is all.
