DRAMATIZATION. MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED EXACTLY AS SHOWN BELOW.
But for those who were there, we know it's realistic.
Imagine a firing line of prairie dog hunters, dirty and tired, standing, kneeling, or lying atop a ridgeline, scanning for varmint to kill.
Spear calls out: "OK, who's got the ass to hit one out at 900 yards?"
When Spear says he sees a prairie dog, we don't bother questioning it.
Phlegmmy, FarmGirl, Christina_LMT, AepilotJim, SCI-FI, Ambulance Driver, and LawDog (IN UNISON): "No."
OldNFO (putting his rifle's scope to his eye): "No." He then dials it in, pulls the trigger, and sends the prairie dog cartwheeling into the next county.
All eyes turn to stare at OldNFO. He explains: "It wasn't 900 yards."
I've seen OldNFO shoot. This is not an exaggeration...
That is all.

OMFGROFLMAO!!!!!!!!111eleven!
It was the 'short' prairie dog, he was only 400 yards out... :-) I couldn't reach the long dog with that AR.
