California Mayor Snubs Veterans to Attend Occupy Rally
The mayor of Richmond, Calif., is under fire for her decision to skip a Veterans Day memorial to attend an Occupy Rally.You see, in her tortured logic, since she's against war she doesn't need to support our troops. Instead, she'd rather go to an event that has seen people killed, women raped, and wide outbreaks of various diseases. That's some priorities y'all got out there on the West Coast. I hope she's voted out of office at the next election - or, even better, recalled - but I just don't see it happening in the land of fruits and nuts...
Mayor Gayle McLaughlin sent an email to the San Jose Mercury News explaining why she would not be attending a Veterans Day salute that included a re-enactment of the launch of a World War II-era ship at the Richmond shipyards.
Sadly, sometimes I think we really *do* get exactly the government we deserve.

The entire bay area should be sold to China to pay off our nations debts.
California is WORSE than China as far as the system The reason is simple. California is basically a communist state. Except they have NO INTENTION to deal with crime. Do you hear about the China criminals? Do you hear about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS in China? NOPE. Hell California would suck a lot less if they went all in.
Did you see that new fancy high speed rail that you and I are paying for in Cali?

The scenery is amazing in most of the state, MOST of people are idiots (Obvious by the recent election results) but they are "educated" if ya ask them.
I left NC about 25 years ago and came to CA. The first 8 weren't too bad but from then on you could see the trainwreck coming and no matter what some of us did we couldn't stop the morons from shooting themselves in the foot.
Now the pistol is firmly nested against the temple of the state and it shouldn't require an intervention to keep the finger off the trigger... Shouldn't...BUT

Of course being that they were from north korea, I can see china being a step up.

the USA is the only nation on earth that grants these freebies for an invasion force. California is at the front of the invasion column. They allow them unfettered access to all things. Oh and we're broke, Business have left, there's very little manufacturing here. There's plenty of SERVICE jobs for the UNIONS of Sacramento....Then we elected Brown again.. wow. please sell this entire state!!!
Richmond would be even more of an afterthought if it wasn't for the military logistics and shipyards. The mayor of that flyspeck on ass of the west coast should get on her knees and thank the Lord that the military ever heard of her little burg.
It's Richmond...I'm not surprised.
