I Hate Being Right...

Scott Brown stabs us in the back YET AGAIN...

Sen. Brown: I support Obama naming consumer chief

BOSTON—U.S. Sen. Scott Brown said he supports President Barack Obama's decision to name Richard Cordray as the nation's chief consumer watchdog despite the objections of Brown's fellow Senate Republicans.

The Massachusetts Republican said in a statement Wednesday that while he would have preferred that the appointment go through the normal confirmation process, the political system is "completely broken" in Washington.

I'm chokin' on my own rage here.

Note to Soon-to-be-Ex-Senator Brown: When you say "If we're going to make progress as a nation, both parties in Washington need to work together to end the procedural gridlock and hyper-partisanship," you need to remember that you're allegedly working with a President who has gone on record as saying "I refuse to take `no' for an answer".

Caving in ≠ compromise.

That is all.

This has been a BLNN dispatch.

think of the alternative. Brown votes with the angels 5% of the time. Teddy II will do it -40% of the time.

To my Fellow Massholes, you must think of two things:

#1. How would a term of Elisabeth Warren differ from another term of Scott Brown

#2. Which will be easier to vote out of office with a REAL AMERICAN taking their place. A Rookie, Green, and incompetent Elisabeth Warren, or an Entrenched Scott Brown?

This year I'm seeing Politics as a Chess game. I see no good moves, but I see a LOT of sacrifices that might move some better pieces into play.

Senator Elisabeth Warren, and a 2nd Term of Barack Obama are two of those moves.

You are Massachusetts, Weerd. Real Americans don't run for office there.

I'm a little tired of hearing that "the Republicans need to compromise, " and " the political process is broken." Right now, the Dems are SO left, saying no is the only alternative to "ARE YOU CRAZY!" At this point, the only thing the H of R can do is hold the line, and keep Obama and the Senate from turning us into europe.

I remember 5 RINOs voted NO during Clinton's Impeachment. 2 are still in office, and they are from New England (Snowe and Collins). And it looks like you may inflict Romney upon the Rest of the Nation.

At least in Ohio, we got rid of our Senate RINO's and we have a Good, Solid Fascist and a Good, Solid Communist. You KNOW where they stand on the Issues.

Hypocrisy: Thy Name is New England!

Pam,
The upcoming Nov elections has big implications for the senate. Of the 33 seats up for grabs in the coming election cycle, 23 are currently held by dems. With congressional approval running in the high single digits, unseating the handful needed to take the senate away from the dems is not such a daunting task.

Medic . . . the Kennedy's procreate like rodents. Draw your own conclusions.

Weer'd: You are today's Quote of the Day.

"the political system is "completely broken" in Washington"

Well, he's right about that much, at least. Just not about why.

No true conservative stands a chance in MA, so you are stuck with RINO's.

At least the RINO's vote on the right side occasionally, which is better than having any Kennedy!
