Girl, 15, wards off burglars
TEXAS CITY — A 15-year-old-girl turned the tables on a pair of intruders early Saturday afternoon.OMG! A child got her hands on a firearm! That gun wasn't safely stored! She could have gotten hurt! The Brady bunch would have you believe that she would have been better to have had the gun locked away out of sight where she couldn't get to it in time than run the risk she might use it irresponsibly. They'd rather that young woman cower in a closet and hope the men don't find her than for her to have the best tools available for being safe. They'd rather she learn to vomit on cue to discourage rapists, as well...
At 12:52 p.m., Texas City police received a call from the girl saying there was somebody trying to get into her house in the 7300 block of Meadowlark.
No, I think the outcome in this story was much better than anything the Bradys could ever propose...
That is all.

Wait, wait, wait......15 years old! and you are calling her a CHILD?!?!?!?!?!?
Oh my gawd man.....she is one of the progressive lefts protected classes! She's 15 for cripes sake...she should be viewed as of breeding age...almost adult like in her visage....she should be protected and cared for.....
She should be allowed to procreate and live off the largess of DE MAN! BUT, never ever let her get her hands on an eeeevviiillllll ggguuunnn
snarkily,
Steve
That post title? It burns.
Ever since the Bradys announced that GunShot Goblins have the Right to Lit Candles, thus making the Bad Guys EQUAL to the Good Guys, I've come to the conclusion that they are just Goblin Aiders and Abetters, and have decided to throw in their lot with the Criminal Element of Society.
One is known by the Company one keeps, and the Bradys have revealed their Loyalties.
Jay,
Hate to take you to task for assuming facts not in evidence but I will:
That gun wasn't safely stored!
The young lady called her father, then got the firearm. He could have told her how to access the firearm at that time.
Texas state law requires that children not have access to readily dischargeable firearms. (Section 46.13)
Other then that, great post. You got your post up just minutes before I got mine up.
C'mon Jay! You know the anti-gunners simply don't "believe" in stories like this. If you close your eyes and plug your ears and go "NYA NYA NYA" enough, these things just sorta disappear you know...
Excellent job, but it would probably be best if someone convinced her not to go outside to confront them next time.
