But HERE'S One from MA!

Nonprofit binges on vacay, booze, dinners out
Executives at a Charlestown nonprofit are being slammed for the “horrifying” waste of taxpayer dollars intended for the disabled that went to pay restaurant bills, booze runs and expenses on a sunny Disney World vacation — all while hiring relatives for stay-at-home jobs and under-the-table work, according to the auditor’s scathing new report.

In all, state Auditor Suzanne M. Bump has ordered Life Focus Center Inc. to return $130,000 to state coffers.
Go read what the center was spending money on and calling a business expense: NH State liquor store, shops at Disney World, the Apple store... This is a guy making well into six figures heading up a non-profit organization that's supposed to help the severely disabled. He's padding his grossly overinflated salary with outright thievery as well as the standard patronage that comes with heading a do-nothing agency.

Yet it's those Wall Street fatcats that are responsible for all that's wrong in the world. You know the type: six figure salary, vacation homes, fancy trips to Disney World, etc. It's a good thing that there are folks that selflessly work for underfunded non-profit organizations to help out, isn't it? You know, to offset the sheer greed and avarice of Wall Street and those evil robber barrons?

I guess the truly amazing thing here is that they were ordered to pay the money back...

That is all.

Well, the Apple Store is at least plausible for a business expense.

I mean, phones and computers and tablets are all real things real businesses actually use to do business.

(Just like buying stuff from Dell, only you get better service and higher resale value, and can get same-day pickup.)
