Driver kills man in intersection
LADSON -- With a stranger trying to break into his car as he waited at a stoplight, a motorist pulled a handgun and fatally shot the would-be burglar early Wednesday, according to sheriff's deputies.Again, you have no way of knowing if the person pounding on your window wants to alert you to a flat tire, or to throw you out of the vehicle into traffic and steal it from you. From the sounds of things, the guy pounding on the window got out of the car behind the shooter, ran up to him at the red light, and started trying his door handle and banging on the glass. He also had a lengthy criminal record for drug-related crimes.
Artremain Grant, 31, of Adams Run died in the intersection of Ladson Road and U.S. Highway 78 about 4:35 a.m., according to the Charleston County coroner's office.
Go around hassling law-abiding citizens, you are just asking for a round to the breadbasket.
Dead Goblin Count: 265
That is all.

This post and yesterday's about not being prey stirred up a memory or two in me. Downtown Lawrence, MA, early 90's, sumdood tried to open my passenger side door at a red light on rt 28 at high noon, I know, big surprise there, right?
What really hit me was the arfcom story saying that the attackers say that they are not attackers. In the don't be in stupid places category, I was gassing up a rental car for return @ 4am when sumdood's cousin starts across the lot asking for help ans saying " I ain't no crackhead."
