What will be interesting, now that I've been to SHOT Show, is the comparison between the two. I'd thought previously that the NRA Convention was enormous; after seeing the miles upon miles of exhibits and displays at SHOT, it's going to seem somewhat less daunting this year. I made it most of the way through the venue at SHOT in three days; I should be able to completely cover the NRA convention after that. I've got my
With that said, what's everyone interested in seeing from the convention? I tried to cover as many requests as possible while I was at SHOT, but the sheer volume of exhibit floor coupled with the drool factor left me at a disadvantage. With the NRA convention, it's a little smaller, plus I've BTDT twice before, so I have more idea of what to expect. I'm going to try to cover pretty much everything there, with an obvious eye towards new and/or exciting stuff that's just coming out.
What would you like to see covered at the NRA convention?

I let my NRA membership expire, for one reason. I was tired of the ZOMG, your membership is about to expire hysteria every two weeks for 11 months. If you are going to hound me, I'm not going to give you money
Eyewear for older shooters, please. If anybody has anything short of Lasik that will help me see my sights and the target better, I'd love to know about it.

I was making plans last year to attend but since they reworked how we do our vacation between then and now I won't be able to. So while y'all are having fun I'll be 100 miles away either sleeping or sitting at work. Have fun though.
