RANDOLPH (CBS) – A Randolph police officer who was doused with gasoline at a fire over the weekend was back at work Monday morning, telling his story.Apparently this dude set his house on fire - with his family inside - and when emergency services showed up to help get folks out, he dumped gasoline on the first person inside the door. The responding officer was not injured, amazingly, and even returned to his shift after changing clothes (and, were it me, my underpants, too...). They arrested the guy responsible without incident, and he will be charged with 13 counts of attempted murder.
Officer Marc L’Italien was at roll call just before midnight on Saturday night when police got the call to go to a burning duplex on Turning Mill Lane.
Officer L'Italien might want to pick up an extra lottery ticket before the week is out at this point...
That is all.

And why are they breathing our Air?
Just Sayin'....
Unfortunately, this type of aggressive, violent behavior towards law enforcement is not uncommon and is part of the job. I'm happy to come home early every morning after being up all night playing with these people.

St. Michael the Archangel must have been working that shift personally.
Attempted murder? But you didn't say anything about guns!
